BLC School Year Sessions 2023-2024

Our after-school tutoring sessions are designed to support students throughout the school year, helping them maintain a strong and stable grade point average. We focus on enhancing study skills, fostering motivation and confidence, and cultivating self-discipline in study habits and time management.

With our deep understanding of California’s education system, we are uniquely positioned to connect with our students. Throughout the school year, we offer different session options to cater to your specific needs and goals. 1. Breakthrough Homework Help Sessions

Our Breakthrough Homework Help Sessions offer independent and individualized support for students to focus on their current school assignments. Our main goal is to help students maintain a high grade point average while strengthening their understanding of concepts taught in class.

During these sessions, students attend class to receive assistance, get their questions answered, and complete their homework. They can also utilize the sessions to concentrate on specific subjects, study for tests, or review essays assigned at school. Our team of Breakthrough instructors consists of highly qualified individuals with Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees and extensive teaching experience in tutoring learning centers, school districts, or college-level instruction.

Each student receives personalized attention, and our instructors are available to review concepts and address any questions or difficulties students may have. Sessions can be tailored to target the subjects where students need the most support. With our years of experience working with California Standards curriculum and various school districts including Placentia-Yorba Linda School District, Anaheim School District, Orange School District, Fullerton School District, and Alvord Unified School District, we are well-equipped to assist students effectively.

Math Homework Help Sessions: These sessions focus on aiding students in understanding the math topics they are currently learning in school. Our instructors provide a brief overview of the lessons based on the Big Ideas textbooks or provided concepts. Students have the opportunity to seek clarification on concepts they didn’t grasp during regular school hours and get help with their math homework.

Language Arts Homework Help Sessions: These sessions provide support for language arts assignments. Students can receive guidance on reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and other language arts-related topics. Our instructors are available to assist with homework questions and provide additional explanations or exercises as needed.

Science Homework Help Sessions (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics): These sessions specifically cater to biology, chemistry, and physics assignments. Students can receive assistance in understanding scientific concepts, conducting research, completing lab reports, and tackling science-related homework questions.
